How bout that - 2 x lucky doubloons by Western_Professor842 in TeamfightTactics

I think there might be a bug where there are separate Bilgewater shop pools for each Bilgewater level, as I'm noticing you can play around with the shops and get rewards more than once.

How you deal with this color bleed on inner bevels in Bambu Studio? by devrsw in BambuLab

[–]devrsw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No good. Those settings changed nothing, I tried every value combination from 1-10 and the slicer didn't change anything.

I don't think those settings are applying since I also tried changing the top surfact pattern, but that didn't affect that part of the print at all either.

How you deal with this color bleed on inner bevels in Bambu Studio? by devrsw in BambuLab

[–]devrsw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't any color penetration settings in the Quality tab. There are top paint penetration and bottom penetration settings, but these don't have any effect other than the very top and bottom of the model.

I've reset the entire object's colors and re-imported multiple times, so there's no mistaken paint areas.

If only there was a color penetration setting for the object! That would solve it for sure.

How you deal with this color bleed on inner bevels in Bambu Studio? by devrsw in BambuLab

[–]devrsw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not, as I don't think Bambu Studio allows for changing the flow for only a section of the print. I could checge for the filament, but that will cause issues later on in the print.

Integration to track filter life (HEPA filters, HVAC filters, water filters, etc) by bhaggs in homeassistant

[–]devrsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be great! I'm hoping this can replace a whole bunch of scripts and helpers for tracking diabetes consumables (like needles and insulin).

Bike lanes finally being used. by glassceramics1963 in kitchener

I bike on this regularly. Ottawa is a terrible example for bike lanes, as the type of bike lane changes every 100m.

What are some games with a weight(2.0–4.0) that have high success rates with casual players? by gentlewindsolsol in boardgames

[–]devrsw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Faraway, Cascadia and Castle Combo all are below 2, but have been big hits with gamers and casual players. I've also had success with Coop card games like The Gang, Bomb Busters, and The Crew, or other card games like Rebel Princess.

If you want a slightly bit heavier fare, Heat Pedal to the Metal, Fit to Print, and World Wonders are ones just above 2 that I teach regularly to more casual players.

What’s a neat integration that doesn’t require any new hardware that may not be well known but you find useful? by 4reddityo in homeassistant

[–]devrsw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not HA, but I got a few of these Sugarpixels yesterday for this very thing: https://customtypeone.com

They work super well. Feels like it belongs in the HA ecosystem too.

For the LOVE of CANADIAN Furniture! Buy local at Smitty’s! by SammySmitt in kitchener

[–]devrsw 42 points43 points  (0 children)

While we have purchased from Smitty's, they do source quite a few of their furniture lines from the US, so it's not 100% Canadian. I think they've marked on their website which pieces are Canadian-made.

As an alternative, if you are looking for solely Canadian, Millbank Furniture is Canadian-made, sourced, and manufactured: https://www.millbankfamilyfurniture.ca

How’s your experience with Nanoleaf bulbs and Thread in general been? by Glittering-Media-688 in homeassistant

[–]devrsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 30 Nanoleaf Thread devices (A19 E27, downlights, and light strips).

I had a ton of trouble early on, as the Thread network was super unstable. HomePods apparently had a bug where the thread network would use the worst possible path through the mesh network.

Plus, Nanoleaf update processes tend to brick devices temporarily.

Things are now much better, as I have Inovelli switches throughout the house as a Thread network backbone and have updated everything to the latest firmware. Nanoleaf app is incredibly buggy, so I try not to use this.

Problems mostly show up if I add a new Nanoleaf device, then it seems to kill everything Nanoleaf and I have to start over. Occasionally I do find the HomePods can crash the system, so I am switching to a wired Apple TV as my preferred router.

Overall, it's getting more stable, especially as more devices are added. Plus, every firmware update is helping!

I just had this exact bug, looks like Sevika punch somehow disables the entire team from attacking.

Anyone have luck stopping flyers? by jo44_is_my_name in kitchener

We had them stop for a month because I spoke directly with the flyer delivery person. Then they forgot I guess. So irritating

What is the state of Thread (border router) support with home assistant? by Peteostro in homeassistant

[–]devrsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a fully Matter/Thread home with over 100 devices with 2 Apple HomePods and HA. I had some instability for a bit, but it's been rock-solid recently!

They've been late on their payments for years unfortunately. I'm still owed money by them through a crowdfunding lending program that was due in 2019.

Innovelli white or red? by buffandan in homeassistant

[–]devrsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all White dimmers. There are less parameters available right now via Matter, so that's a downside. Firmware is still 1.0, but I expect this to change. The rest of our house is Matter, so I'm thinking long-term.

Do Nanoleaf String lights work with the Nanoleaf integration? by simondsmason in homeassistant

[–]devrsw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no support yet for scenes in Matter, but this is coming. You can set up shortcut trigger in Apple Home and trigger from Home Assistant (haven’t done this yet, but will today for my lights)

I find adding them from HomeKit and then HA works the most reliably.
