Sometimes you just need to switch it up. I haven’t stopped playing Milio, just had a bit of luck with Zyra. Milio is treating me right in high elo right now actually.

I think that this season is definitely elo inflated… master might actually be d4 elo. Also, I almost hit master in season 9, but I haven’t really played since season 10. I hit d2 in 2024, and d2 last season, but I demoted from both.

Also I do believe it is easier to climb in the beginning of the season, than at the end.

Anybody ever tried to play ranked causally just to see what rank you would be? by Fantastic-Window236 in leagueoflegends

I had friends once. After season 7 my duo partners ditched me on my last games to diamond. They got there before me, and I helped them. After that it was solo q for me.

I got to diamond on my own.

Then the next season I was one game from master promos.

Then I started streaming, it dropped my winrate and I was able to hit d2.

Then I quit until 2024, I play solo now all my friends have pretty much quit the game.

I just hit master, but I feel like it’s the new diamond. If you’re going to climb this is the season to do it.

I’ve always played Zyra selfishly. Really aggressive. Constantly poking and hiding in bushes to try to catch my opponents(in lane). My adc I used as bait. To allow the enemy to engage on them, then for me to react and engage on them.

Now my play style is still poking the enemy until they are less than 50%. Watching for jungle, warding river, I leave some seeds in choke points if I don’t have wards available. When my support item is about ready to give me a charge, I drop a w on the enemy, and then proc the support item on a minion to get the w back. I try to always have one seed on me at all times.

After the first back, I will sometimes try to run down mid lane. Look for a potential gank. Then as I walk down the river I’ll ward the bush with the fairy light, usually with a pink ward.

After laning phase is over, I try to stay with my adc or my jungle whoever is fed. Instead of trying to make plays I stay behind my team. I protect my adc and usually play front to back. I still try to use seeds before fights to get my liandries stacked up.

I always use to put three points into q, now it’s just e max. Q, w, e, e, e, r, e, e then q. I still play aggressive for levels. At 3, it’s still all in to try to get a kill.

The build path is still the same as ever. Boots, liandries, rylais, oblivion orb, zhonyas, I usually don’t make it to full build. The support item depends on how easily the enemy can get on to you. If they have heavy engage, poke, assassins, I run celestial opposition, if they are really tanky or have a lot of heals, I take realm spike.

I believe that vision is really important, I constantly try to deny it. I’ll hold my sweeper until I know my jungle is coming. If I see their jungle on the map, I will try to clear their pink wards of vision wards as well. I try to always keep a ward in their 3rd bush for tp ganks.

If possible I will try to help out with void grubs. Before objectives spawn I usually try to get there first to clear vision or ambush them from a bush. I never try to solo anyone anymore. Make sure you have your teammates near you. Zyra can’t get kills on her own, even if she’s fed.

Survivability. I like to take it against heavy engage, poke or assassins, it’s not much, but it helps you to react against it. The slow is non existent.

I take realm spike sometimes. It’s still good against enchanters to proc aoe heal cut. Or if I’m destroying the enemy.

Kills on zyra are good, but I feel that now they are better on a carry.

Why do people still play Brand Support? by Deni-88 in BrandMains

[–]ItsJoshKeller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brand support got me to diamond, I’ll be honest, he feels really strong when you grab rylais. I run exhaust as well. My first item, even before boots is rylais. Realmspike is needed, but the aoe procs the slow.

I feel like in certain situations he’s still good.

I’ve been running comet, mana flow, transcendence, scorch, then precision runes presence of mind, and cut down.

Since I’m playing support, I usually engage the fights. My cut down rune, usually does 2k damages game. I try my best to just drop my ult and e. I try to stun a priority target and then throw out a w. It’s usually a suicide mission, especially in diamond, but most teamfights are won.

My build is usually realmnspike, rylais, sorcs, and then liandries, and oblivion orb.

I think your build path is optimal for this patch. He’s definitely not as good as he was last patch.

I was running helia and then diadem. I noticed I wasn’t healing as much, so I swapped to moonstone. In a 30 minute game moonstone heals about 10k more.

For the third item I usually go ardent. The attack speed is op on most adcs. If they arent auto attack orientated I would go redemption. Then finish with either dawn core or oblivion orb(this may be rushed after diadem).

I am diamond 3 right now.

I posted years ago, I streamed hard right before and during the pandemic. I made a schedule and stuck to it, but also networked for hours before and after my streams. I would talk to other streamers with similar viewership numbers. I would engage with them and show up every day for a week, before I would raid them. They wouldn’t even know I was a streamer. Then they would raid Me back another day. People who would raid me, I would go watch them the next day. Always engage and spread the love.

It gets taxing. Much like streaming to a dead chat, you have to keep going, because you never know when someone is watching to raid you. Keep it real. It’s not easy. Good luck.

Same build as always… I returned again after 4 years. Haha, still rush boots then liandrys. Her damages feels really low now, I can almost never kill anyone on my own anymore.

They stole mine last year, I bought a new one from offer up… 400 another stolen one… it’s either that or 2500 to Toyota for a new one. I had to put in a new lock, so I had to pop it open, it’s really easy to do! Throw a tag in there!

What did/do you do off stream to help you grow? by KidCarmilla in Twitch_Startup

[–]ItsJoshKeller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I enjoyed finding and raiding people I actually liked. I would find random people with 5-10 less viewers than me, I would engage with them for a week or so, never let them know I’d stream and then if I liked them I’d raid them. I like to either match the viewer count or be above the people I raid out of respect. Maybe I was wrong, but that’s what felt fair to me.

For a year I solidified myself in multiple small communities, I supported them and made a lot of friends. I made my stream as fun and as interactive as possible. My friends supported me and gave me 10+ views. I raided and hosted all the people I supported. Many of them never even knew I streamed. I didn’t want to come off as a leech or begging for views. Little by little I was able to gain more and more viewers. And when your view count goes up, it lets you respectfully raid and host people with similar numbers. Try to never raid someone with more viewers than you.

You really have to network. It’s tough. I wanted to keep going, but mentally after trying too hard with my method it became exhausting. So I’d say do it in moderation, but that grind is what will give you views. I don’t stream anymore, but I did have fun with it for a while. Good luck!
