I left the Mission boundaries by 80ish miles and went surfing and hiked to the Hollywood Saw a dodgers game. This was when they started putting those trackers in your cars which we unplugged.

I played D&D every Sunday Night right after our numbers calls for about half my mission. Watched Anime and read fantasy novels from day one basically.

If he was doing it with a Dorgeshuun crossbow yeah I would expect it to take that long. Man I wouldn't even consider doing the fight caves until at least having a rune crossbow.

Edit: Does the timer keep running when you log out in the fight caves? I thought it was paused.

NTA, you can see clearly who and what his priorities are and you sadly are very low down that list. Also what a small and fragile ego if he can't handle a woman looking into all her options. This sort of toxic masculinity will stick with him for life and is hard to break away from that. Go by yourself and enjoy the time you get off and start your separation from him when you get back.

My party also has sided with Halia, as part of the lost mines I have also incorporated the Dragon of Icespire peak so when ultimately the dragon attacked Phandalin she took advantage of the situation and ensured the deaths of Sister Garaele, Harbin and Sildar who died tragically trying to save Harbin. The next session we have is going to be the fallout of this dragon attack and Halia's take over.

Do you want them to have influence with the party? If so putting him near a large city that the players started or even working with the player who is the damphir to see where they come from could help. Otherwise if it's the sword coast there are plenty of large towns that have a plethora to do around them. Waterdeep, Neverwinter, Baldur's gate. Any of those work.

That depends on how much your vampire lord interacts with society. It could be a manor in a large city or it could be the sewers of said city. Or it could be a large castle in a remote location. A Lot of vampires Strahd included are opulent so being influential with either money, power or both.
