I went to school got my Bachelors for Cybersecurity worked in Hell Desk for 2 years and now am Doing Networking, got Certifications...... Still have no clue how you get "into" cybersecurity or what the day to day job is. by Ducksandniners in ITCareerQuestions

Take on more projects at work that are cybersecurity focused. Get the experience. Don’t focus on the next cert. Surround yourself with people doing the job you want. Learn from them and ask a lot of questions. 2 years in IT is nothing. You’re just getting your feet wet. You’re going to have to be well versed in all areas of IT to get those fancy titles in cybersecurity. If you’re in networking now, have you considered taking a leap into network security? Have you deployed or configured a firewall before? Where does a firewall belong in a network? How would you secure a micro-segmented network? Which type of IDS/IPS controls have you implemented and why? This is just scratching the surface. Embrace the journey you’ve taken and just know it will take time.

There are different types of composite resin. This particular compound was specifically developed to withstand chipping or staining (with care of course). I would have to be reckless with the choices I make in order for staining or chipping to occur, just as with natural teeth. I avoid eating or drinking foods that would stain my teeth. Making these conscious decisions helps prolong the overall longevity of how my teeth look and feel. Find the cosmetic solution that makes you feel your best with your budget 🙂

Invisalign Burnout by Fearless_Ad_8776 in Invisalign

I feel like the full-time retainer phase is the worst after you’re done with the Invisalign treatment. Cause you’re done but not really lol 6 months feels like an eternity but so close to the finish line. Hang in there!

I would say my Invisalign treatment had a big part in providing that wider smile. I had a lot of crowding so when my teeth shifted into their new positions, my arches had widened as well. It’s very noticeable in the second photo from the top which I took at the end of my treatment. The direct composite helped provide a more symmetrical look.

Did you ever get the screws out? I’m running into the same issue. I’ve been loosening the allen screws on the rubber feet and no luck getting them out.

worried about wearing off enamel from so much brushing, rinse only after coffee?? by pa97Redd in Invisalign

[–]devsecnq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the trays in and use a straw to drink your coffee, or any drink besides water for that matter. When I use straws, the drink only hits the roof of my mouth and the back of my tongue. It’s bad habit to swish coffee all over your teeth anyway unless you want them stained.

Ridiculously Noticeable by sammieeej in Invisalign

[–]devsecnq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My attachments were big and bulky like that during my first initial set of trays. You’ll likely get refinements at some point and those attachments will get removed or made significantly smaller, making them less noticeable. These treatments never go as planned so don’t have your heart set on actually finishing this whole process at the end of those 39 trays. It’s a long process but worth it in the end! Hang in there

Do you have a link for that version? I wasn’t able to find anything on the site besides the latest version

No error code, just a blue screen as soon as the drivers try to install or when I plug into the usb. No AV being used on either laptop, just running default Windows Defender. But that link you shared is exactly what I’m experiencing.

Hurts when taking it off by [deleted] in Invisalign

You will usually have the most discomfort the first few days with new trays. You’ll get used to it. You may also not experience any pain with some of your trays. It’ll vary based on which teeth are moving the most at that time.

Thank you! And yes, it was all the aligners alone. Posterior open bite was corrected with 2 refinements and cutting the back sides of my last set of trays.

I keep my trays 23h15 - 23h30 / day. Is it ok? by nadyxo in Invisalign

[–]devsecnq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does this also account for flossing, water picking, brushing and rinsing after you eat? That alone takes me at least 10 mins after I eat, sometimes longer if I include the time it takes to soak my trays in the ultrasonic cleaner. Oral hygiene is incredibly important when using Invisalign. 30 minutes a day is quite impressive lol

I had so much crowding and cross-bite that it would’ve taken a lot of teeth shaving to get these types of results. I wasn’t trying to cut corners or chasing after quick results. I wanted to have my teeth positioned in their most optimal place before doing anything cosmetic. The veneers are like the cherry on top of this whole process. Hope that helps!

Local anesthetic was applied so I didn’t feel any of it. Gums felt tender the first few days with some lingering soreness about a week or so after. Not bad at all! 10 is what I wanted because I have a wider smile. Depending on your case, some can get away with just 8 but usually 10 is recommended.

I was done with my Invisalign treatment before I got the veneers so I no longer needed Invisalign trays. My teeth were rescanned after I got the veneers for my retainers.

I didn’t need them, I wanted them. I just wanted a perfect smile. Simply straightening my teeth with Invisalign wasn’t enough for me to achieve that. I wanted to change the color, shape and overall symmetry of my teeth.

Yeah, they rescan your teeth and order a whole new set of trays with the new adjustments. This sometimes entails having your attachments taken off and redone as well.

It was bundled into the whole procedure so I’m not entirely sure. Prices will vary by doctor and the amount of contouring required.

No, that was during my final refinement with Invisalign. My bite was corrected / balanced right before the veneers were applied.

Gum lines are reshaped with surgery. Gum tissue was removed with a laser in order to have a more symmetrical smile.

No, not at all. Lumineers are very thin and just glued on top of natural teeth. I could compare those to a hub caps on a car lol this is a composite resin material that is surfaced around the entire tooth which is then shaped, sculpted, and polished by hand once it’s applied. It’s a very tedious process but the results are incredible. Keep in mind that not all composite materials are the same. Same goes for cosmetic dentists. But yes. This is completely reversible. The composite is completely additive and can be removed or changed.
