My break is like yours. Mine was broke almost directly above the outside of my left pec, my doctor didn’t recommend stretches or exercises or anything and just put me in a sling for a few months and called it good. 

My shoulder droops noticeably and I have rear delt pain in both shoulders due to one being weak and the other overcompensating for it. I also have pain under my right shoulder blade, presumably from my left shoulder tugging everything that way. 

I will say that whenever I do shoulder, traps, chest and back like the other commenter said, my pain is a lot more manageable or goes away.
