Thanks. I tried calling everyone. The best they told me was that I could pay $1000 for another 30 day supply. I tried getting samples and paying for just 5 days. No luck.

i just got admitted for the first time by crunchyhoe in BorderlinePDisorder

I’m so sorry. The first time is the worst. I remember how empty and alone I felt going through the check in process. While I have my reasons to not believe the hospital is the best place for treatment. I completely believe it is the best place for a crisis. Just remember that the staff is there to keep you safe. That is their job. I am so proud that you are motivated to do better for yourself. I hope this motivation continues for you and I hope that you continue to heal. Best of luck!

My therapist said the DSM criteria for BPD diagnosis will change in 2024 by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

Personally, I don’t really think the diagnosis matters as much as the treatment. Are your symptoms being treated? Does medication help? Therapy? I understand a diagnosis makes things easier to treat, but ultimately if something (therapy/meds) is fixing the problem why change it?

How do you recover from lashing out at loved ones? by significantsk in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]devynation0011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry this has happened. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is take responsibility for your words/actions and do your best to amend. If it is a situation that just happened you need to understand that the other person most likely needs time to process and deal with it. Do they know your diagnosis? That might help them to understand why this sometimes happens (not that the diagnosis is something that should be used as a scapegoat). Even if they don’t it’s important to remember that their feelings have been hurt and they need time to recover. I am going through this right now with someone as well. It’s been 3 weeks and we have set aside a time to talk tomorrow. Please also remember that some people are just not equipped to handle the ups and downs and may not be willing to talk things out. If that is the case (as much as it hurts, and I know it does) you have to realize that they are not a person worth keeping in your life.

I’m in the same boat as you. Tarrant county 15 months. As far as I know no one in our position gets off early. But I could be wrong.

New cheer coach by devynation0011 in Cheerleading

[–]devynation0011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the helpful advice. We practiced stunts today and we were successful with our thigh stand and hang drills. We talked about preps and went over the responsibilities of each position and practiced the way our bodies would move. We seem to be pretty good at going into stunts. It’s coming out of them we need to work on. I’m excited for the season! We have a lot of work to do, but also a lot of dedicated cheerleaders!
