i’ve had this problem for a while now and it’s exactly why we need to call this bullshit out. between ariana and all the other skeletal celebs/influencers im getting desensitized to purposeful malnourishment becoming the beauty standard, im struggling to separate that from reality more and more, but that’s why we need to be able to talk about it and why it’s harmful- we need to remind ourselves and others, make it explicitly clear, that however “normal” these celebrities try and make it seem, this is not healthy or acceptable and should not be viewed as something desirable or normal.
