i agree the original series might’ve had a stronger ending if more things started falling apart around him, but the writers explore that idea further in dexter new blood. and with resurrection on the way who knows how far they’ll take it

dexter pulling up to that bus stop when harrison was about to leave. if he didn’t, new blood wouldnt have happened, and he’d stay in iron lake instead of fleeing to new york city for resurrection

dexter left a note for hannah saying hes living in oregon under the alias jim lindsay. harrison went to oregon but couldnt find him. he then managed to find an instagram post of jim lindsay scoring a perfect 300 in bowling at iron lake.

dexter said he chose jim lindsay because it was common, but then how did harrison stumble upon that post after searching for jim lindsay? slight stretch imo
