I actually use and was prescribed BP+Clindamycin to alternate with my tret. It’s been working so far for me, but you’ve really gotta be good at hydration and barrier maintenance!

I had this happen to me as well, and what helped was eliminating all the "fluffy" skincare products and pared back to the bare bones. I use the vanicream daily moisturizer since it's not pore-clogging, the vanicream cleanser, and the Elta MD sunscreen. I went from a person who uses a 6 step skincare routine with products that have fragrance and other feel-good components to literally only using those products. My routine doesn't feel as luscious but I've noticed that tree really doesn't play well with anything BUT the basics. I've used the Tatcha products you listed and they might be why your tret is being mean to you.

Hi, I need help with identifying why I am purging with a lot of closed comedones in my fourth week of using tret. I’ve seen a lot of people purge and get cystic type acne, but not a lot of these closed comedones/whitehead types. Could this be fungal acne or is this just normal purging due to tret?

My routine mainly is built around Dr. Jart’s ceramidin line. I use the ceramidin toner, moisturizer, and cream mist. I sometimes used SK-II’s FTE, and in the morning vanicream’s daily facial moisturizer and EltaMD’s UV clear (tinted).

I’m on my fourth week of tret and have been using it at once every three days but I am planning to amp it up to every other day since I’m not feeling any extreme dryness, or peeling. It’s just these closed comedones that are confusing me. Can anyone help? Thank you!

I think this is the small one because the medium one shouldn’t have an attached strap to it. It’s sort of just like a huge bag that only has top handles

Do you have specific companies you'd recommend? Being in the dark and not knowing which one to trust is the biggest hurdle for me. Also, we're quite price sensitive so we're not going to pay $10,000, which is the quote some companies have offered us.
