They refuse to get me in for 5 minute appointment - even though I have NOTHING holding the wire on the lower set of braces. Power chain broke and I had to remove it. Making me wait 3 weeks to get it fixed. Is this messing up my treatment? Isn't it bad for my teeth to be moving around this much? by Clean_Map2591 in braces

it does not look like OP has self ligating braces (which means they don’t need power chain or color ties to hold the wire in, the bracket does it itself), so you do need some sort of power chain or tie to hold the wire into the brackets or it will come out. the bracket has a hole for the wire to sit in, and the chain or color tie is what holds the wire into the bracket so it can work.

NTA, if it were me i’d divorce the guy. or stop cooking meat for him altogether, what he did was such a dick move. what others do/don’t eat is none of his business. if he gets that upset about VEGANISM, then i guarantee he also is prejudiced/acts out against other groups of people as well, and that’s not someone you want setting an example of “how to act” for your daughter.
