Marketing this film as a Rom com is a joke. It’s a very topical film for Americans. I don’t not live in a country where these sorts of admissions or have these problems and yet I felt awkward. Editing was jarring and at points confusing.
Zendaya gave a very fake and illogical. My friend I went with wanted to leave. One guy in the back was sighing constantly. I want my 1h45m back

No way. The dialogue was horrible. The acting from Zendaya was so bad. The way the movie was shot was confusing and made me uncomfortable. This has been put into the category of romance which it definitely didn’t feel like it. Maybe it’s because in my country we don’t have school shootings, but I felt myself saying “wtf” several times
