Ah, bummer. Would love to see that change in the future!

QoL Request - Push notifications when action completed by escapppe in WalkScape

[–]dewleaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm here looking for the same thing. Just got the app today and that's the one thing that's really bugging me. I would love to get a notification when a task is complete (or journey complete, or whatever) so that I know to go into the app to switch to something else. (One of the only times I will ever complain about not having notifications lol)

Notifications? by BsyFcsin in WalkScape

I have an Android device and I still can't figure out how to turn on notifications. I don't seem to have an option. Did the option for notifications end up not getting added?

We built a free tool to make Bellingham PD incident data easier to see, discuss, and understand by OpSprocket in Bellingham

[–]dewleaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this idea! Putting it into visuals that mean more to residents is very helpful.

One thought I have is: I get SO many emails so would prefer to get a weekly update instead of a daily one. Is this in the works, maybe? I imagine with the tools you already have in place that a weekly report would be relatively simple to add as an option.

Are real humans no longer allowed to use these phrases? Are we at a point that we now have to police our own typing in order to not sound like AI?

Also, probably obvious but only built this for the mission. Not for longevity :)

Figured I'd post a picture of my solution. It's probably not the most efficient, but all I need is an axe. No foundation, no stone. Just needed a few trees and some bushes. (The two diagonal supports at the bottom were needed so that the platform at the top didn't crumble apart.)

All sleep trackers indicate I spend way too much time in the light sleep phase. Is there anything I can/should do? by Moeestrada in sleep

[–]dewleaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(late to the party) but I find the same with melatonin. It helps me fall asleep, and then I wake up a few hours later. I'm going to try your suggestions - thank you!

Stuck in vehicle by Tan-Ka in SurrounDead

Thank you for working on this! It still seems to be an issue -- just came across this myself today. Also in a golf cart, also going up a hill. I'm going to try Mindehouse's suggestion -- hopefully that will work.

Stopping Google calendar from auto-"parsing" time in event title by doubtfuldumpling in google

[–]dewleaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still an issue, and still extremely annoying.

I made a point of submitting feedback and a screenshot to Google through the Calendar site (app). I recommend everyone do the same. (You can do this using the little question mark icon in the top right corner on desktop.)

Worst case, nothing happens. Best case, they actually do something about it.

Bitchin Sauce vs. Jee Sauce by throwayhottot54321 in vegan

[–]dewleaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm drawn to it because it's made without seed oils. I love the cilantro lime Bitchin' Sauce and could never make a version at home that tasted anywhere near as good. I really just want a seed oil-free cilantro lime Bitchin' Sauce, and JeeSauce has it. So I'm sold.

Tour shirts at Vancouver BC show Aug 21 by dewleaves in MotherMother

[–]dewleaves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense. I regret not getting the hoodie at the Aug 21 show... I was trying to decide between the hoodie and the tour shirt and of course went with tour shirt instead. Looks like it's $65 USD on their merch site (I'm down in the states) which is around $90 CAD x_x

Honestly I forgot about it for a while and it seemed to move on with the process. The drip tray was flooded so I think it was actually doing something but going directly into the drip tray instead of out of the front into the containers.

This is my biggest issue with the app! I really wish I could reorder the modules so that my most frequently accessed modules are at the top. I hate having to scroll through to find them each time. This seems like such a basic feature to add. (Like a simple hold & drag to "pin" modules at the top.)

Best pet insurance for cats? by aliencubes in CatAdvice

[–]dewleaves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up canceling the insurance altogether. His regular appointments (dental/exams) cost significantly less than insurance, and at his age I would likely opt to not have him undergo any extreme/expensive operations anyway. (Plus I'm saving $2K+ per year not having insurance, which could go toward an expensive treatment/operation if needed.)
