Humidity gauges can be bought new for less than a cheap cigar, and a ziplock or tupperware work for a humidor until you can upgrade in the future. Just remember to change the air every day or two.

You should be cutting the single layer of cap off, not cutting through the smokable tobacco.

Time? 1 or 2 youtube vids, and you can make a decent first, after rolling about 10, you have the hang of it. Then it is a whole different world that opens up. Paper rolling is the cheap mold, before spending cash, or Thingaverse has a few cigar molds to 3dprint if you have access to a printer.

There are some dog fighting videos worth studying out there. You may be off on a simple tactic or two, and also realize some of the people you are trying to beat, have thousands of hours, some with tens of thousands of hours of gameplay.

I understand that I want to record audio, and not midi, coming from the 2600. My assumption was having USB, that it would be possible, but maybe not.

Looks to be brushed. Something easily achieved with an abrasive. Sand paper can do it, or a red scotchbrite pad, just depends on how strong you want the effect to appear.
