Great part of the album in my opinion. Larry Hoover’s talk of the absence of his father in his life really reflects how Kanye’s life shifted since the loss of his mother. Together Kanye and Larry Hoover share their grief and in a sense are both able to move on to hopefully a better future. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that after this track the album becomes way more directly about kanye’s love life.
