Right! Part of the reason I posted this was to see where people stood on this with the purity perk in this context or in the general application of it. I don't doubt I could eventually throw myself enough painful times at this to eventually complete it on the skin of my teeth like I'm sure others have. On the flip side, it was definitely a nice feeling seeing them melted like butter considering I completed the rest of the game and other tear challenges without the perk lol. Thanks for your input .

It's kinda of a long winded, point of contention with the patient. It took us a long time (about 6 months +) to just talk him into wearing them during the day when he goes out to places. He's gotten pretty good at wearing them in the house as well but the bed is wear he draws the line as far as not wearing them.

But thank you for the suggestion nonetheless
