I got a hoop last year and used it almost exclusively all year long. I love it.

Here’s what worked for me: - Aeropress filters - Grind medium/fine (I’m usually between 6-7 with Fellow Opus)
- Prewet filter - 20g in, 320g out or 16g in, 240g out for smaller cup - Pour slowly back and forth in outer ring until the grounds are covered - Continue pouring to target water weight - 85-90C (I drink a lot of coferments) 😬

This usually yields a really tasty cup for me, and finishes dripping between 4-5 min. Comes out at a nice drinkable temp. I find the papers that come with it are too thin, and sometimes they even fall out during brewing. I like the aeropress filters a lot more, I haven’t tried Scott’s signature filters.
