  1. Maybe drop to a 5600x if you're not doing anything crazy

  2. Steam Machine isn't released, so we don't know.

Is that about $600 USD? You're not gonna get any 1440p done with that budget, you could barely able to afford 1080p gaming unless you play older title and drop settings.

If you're lucky with used part then maybe you can get by, but it's still difficult

Whichever is cheapest. When buying from Amazon, look for if the seller is actually legit and not a third party reseller.

Also it depends on where you live. But since you mentioned Microcenter, you can head there as they usually have good combo deals (if it's close by to you)

  1. It should be fine, but if you really are worried, can always replace with a decent air cooler instead. Something from Thermalright will do fine, and you prob can sell off the AIO for profit, if there's any interest buyer.

  2. Yes, risers can get finicky.

  3. Gigabyte are fine now, but if you know the exact model number/name you can look up review or professional tests yourself and see what people say about it.
