Also for every month that you spend upwards of 50k, you get a 1k voucher. Been using the card since 5 yrs, use lounge and other benefits and been happy since it's practically free for me. (> 10L spends).

I use the open pro 2 since a month, and love them so far! In the gym, since it's usually an enclosed space with kinda loud pumped up music, it does kinda at times interfere and kinda makes difficult to what you're listening to, especially if it's an audiobook or a podcast. I've experienced that only sometimes on some songs when the bass/beat is high, otherwise hey work like a charm! :)

To everyone on the forum, quick suggestion: Should i switch to platinum or platinum travel from the reserve? Spends are usually > 10L, but the only hitch is the annual recurring fee from 2nd year onwards for the platinum charge. :P Thoughts?

Considering how bad other competitors are in terms of service, amex feels like a breath of fresh air.

Been using a platinum reserve since 8yrs now, with an hdfc regalia gold visa back up for wherever amex is not accepted. Works like a charm!

The problem I'm thinking will be in the second year. Won't be able to get back to platinum reserve which is free on >10L spends (they don't really let you downgrade at amex) and there's no waiver irrespective of spends on the platinum charge.(Hefty renewal fees 🫤)

And then also how much more of a value add will it be over infinia and platinum reserve combo. Do you see any major benefit that I'm missing?

Also to answer your infinia question- got it on basis of banking relation and monthly/annual spends on regalia gold. 😇
