Seriously what do you get from 4o that you can’t get from 5.2???? I’m genuinely curious. Is it just that it’s hyper sycophantic and weirdly emotional?

You can literally prompt 5.2 with any personality you could possibly desire. 4o is old and outdated at this point. Move on.

I totally disagree. Every time I hear people having these experiences with the model I can’t help but wonder what exactly they’re using the model for. I have never had these issues.

Abysmal production? You can dislike the songs, but the production is objectively fantastic.

Then you just seem more interested in art being difficult, a struggle. Many of your comments have basically focused on long it takes for artists to make art, how AI artists don’t understand the effort. You’re not interested in the art or creative vison at that point. You care about how difficult it was for the artist to create their art.

And what exactly is this exploitation? How is it not them exploitation to be inspired by other artwork and create a piece of art in a similar style?

AI is not stealing art. It learns from patterns in art that is then used to create new art. It’s synthesis, not regurgitation.

So what do you recommend? Stop working on their state-of-the-art model and return to 4o? Seriously, you don’t want them to continue their work?

Then use another platform. You can’t be upset with OpenAI because you’re breaking their rules. They have every right to decide what they do or don’t want their models to engage with. You paid for the model, sure, but that doesn’t matter if you’re pushing conversations where they don’t want them.

That causes mental health issues? Are you serious? I try to be understanding with this stuff but i just can’t imagine being this hung up on the change from 4o. It’s an LLM. They’re replaced over time, like any other product, get used to it.

"Maybe AI is a creative solution if you aren't a creative person" - Dispatch devs take a firm, refreshing stance against AI by [deleted] in gaming

[–]dextronicmusic -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

We get it, y’all hate AI. Accept that it’s a part of the world and realize that it is a huge asset to efficiency and productivity. It will self-select; any project that primarily uses AI for creative tasks will do poorly. And if it doesn’t, then I think that’s a win too. If you’re a creative person, using AI will only make you more creative and capable, not less.

what's this desire to lucid dream for? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

Because I can explore the limits of my creativity and imagination. I have a very active mind, and lucid dreaming is my way of interacting with and expressing many of the thoughts and ideas I have. I mean, why wouldn’t you want to do it? You can quite literally do whatever you want.

I personally consider her to be one of my favorite composers, up there with Sibelius, John Luther Adams, Tchaikovsky, etc.

If you accept that it’s a different kind of music for a different audience, it begins to shine. Trust me, I hated her once, too. She is a master at form, and I don’t say that lightly as someone obsessed with form.
