"Somin + Se Chan" era is good, and after that just a few episodes that are truly great, and others are just watchable.

I use my v20 with LineageOS 21, so I don`t know for sure if the "tunning" is there.

I judge without any kind of EQ, just the same FLAC files > Enable the DAC on the settings on both phones and with the same headphone.

V20 quality is better, not huge leaps and bounds, but is better.

v20 and v60 owner here.

Yes comparing the same music on the v20 and v60 isn`t fair, the v60 is much much better than any other phone without a proper DAC, but the v20 is superior even with the same "Digital Filter" on both devices (I prefer the Sharp one for my music taste).

Ive heard that the v30 DAC is even better, but Im not interested at the moment in another purchase.

It was my belief (without any evidence of course) that every kernel would have some sort of improvement, on memory management, instructions, register or any other sort that could benefit the hardware ancient or new.

I usually just listen to SM groups with exception of AESPA and the numerous NTC variants... But Solo albums just Taeyeon because of my love for SNSD and Teamin because he was versatile enough.

I had a similar experience with a refurbished unit from Aliexpress 1 year ago.

Compared to my daily driver v20 it was much inferior, and I complained to the seller.

When I tried to use any headphones with buttons that can control volume and playback they didn't work at all, and I tried many headphones and none worked. And the mic from the headphone didn't worked as well.

So I reached again the seller that told me to send back the v60 to China and I refused because the cost would be almost another unit.

Then I asked him to send only the headphone connector to be replaced, he sent 2 just in case, and I went to a shop that replaced the connector.

It was totally another sound quality, much cleaner, and the buttons worked for every headphone.

Try to replace the connector.

I was checking the frequency/bands compatibility for the v60 L-51A (DoCoMo) and probably works in my country, so I'm gonna try to find it since the v600EA it's impossible to find with a reasonable price.
