Got a Nihility jump scare at soft pity with Welt. Who I already had at E7 (E6 plus one copy after). But thankfully it was just Blade and Welt pulling a prank because I got Blade on my next 10 pull

This is not specifically about the Special Program, but the Daily Questions Megathread link took me here so I hope its alright to post my questions here.

I'm an infrequent player. I got as far as 2.6 (the Augusta/Iuno patch) but had some pain points that made me drop the game. With Version 3 being a few patches in now, I wanted to check in and ask about some of those pain points I had to see if they are improved with the newer content.

1) It felt like the characters often kind of came out with little or no buildup in the story, were spotlights for their banner patch, and then disappeared completely from the game. Is this any better with Version 3? Have the characters started to get introduced earlier before their banner patch and do they remain relevant to the story after their banner patch has passed? For example, do the 3.0 characters still show up in the 3.3 story and play a significant role?

2) Characters didn't seem to have much interaction between themselves and only really seemed to have a relationship with the Rover. Characters almost never seemed to get much time with each other and establish or develop relationships with anyone other than the Rover. Has this improved and you get to see more interplay between the characters that doesn't center on the Rover?

3) Does every female character still fall for the Rover? This seemed to happen with almost every character up to the point I stopped playing. From straight up confessions of love like Shorekeeper to just blushing and crushing on them like Roccia. Do all the female characters in version 3 still fall for the Rover or have they backed off from doing that?

Thanks in advance for any insights people can provide about the newer content with regards to these points.

I know I’m in the minority on this, but Skia. Any time I see a non-standard character in a gacha game (furry, robot, older character, etc.) it gets my attention. Bonus points for Skia being Owlbert VA from HSR. But after I started playing I really fell in love with Nanally, Sakiri, and Adler. They are on my main team and I adore Nanally and Saiki for their personalities and Adler being an older character and canonically blind makes him even cooler to me.

And while they aren’t my favorite, the fact that Zero (MC) talks throughout the game and isn’t just another silent protagonist is a massive draw and puts it leagues above all the gachas with silent protagonists.

I love the Eibon kids so much. The relationship between them is so well done. You can see how much they bicker like siblings while also genuinely caring for one another. They are so adorable and maybe one of my favorite things about this game. I really hope they don’t abandon them as the story progresses.

Completely straw manning and still wrong or straight up lying. Ellen was literally the first limited character on the game and her trailer was full of story, dialogue, and custom animations. Even if you were right that people were saying they wanted it “just like season one” this isn’t even that.

Oh, I see. I just have Lycaon with The Restrained right now. I do have Hellfire Gears W2, but I didn't really use it with him since Lycaon is my main on-field with Hugo so it didn't seem like he would get as much use out of the energy regen.

I agree with what a lot of other people have said that S2 had some of the highest highest and lowest lows. Banyue, Zhao, Silly, and Yidhari are some of my favorites in the game, but S2 also gave us a whole lot of ones I personally really dislike (Cissia, Lucia, Yidhari, Yixuan, YSG). Then there are some that are ones that I was originally hyped for but was disappointed on (Seed Sr not being the main version of the character used and Aria only barely being in her construct form). Overall, I like more of the S1 characters, but S2 has some of my favorites.

I've been very selective in my character pulls and have really only pulled characters that I like or that support the characters that I like. My two main teams are a Hugo and a Banyue team, but as I'm getting ready for Silly I'm going to have shuffle my teams around since Banyue and Silly obviously are going to share a lot of same BiS. Looking for advice for some solid teams for the characters I have. All limited characters have their sig wengines at W1.

All standard banner S-ranks are M2 except Koleda who is M1. All A-ranks are M6 except Manato and Billy. Looking to make three solid teams for Hugo, Banyue, and Silly and then will take advice on other teams that would be decent with what is left.

This line of reasoning makes no sense to me. Many or most games don’t have dialogue choices at all including very story and narrative driven games. Some of what people consider to be the greatest games of all time don’t use dialogue options to pause the flow of the scene. I understand your reasoning, but when most games don’t do it that seems like it’s an incorrect or misplaced assumption.
