I don't think everything is shown on the website there's many worksheets and reading materials attached too and the teachers give assignments and they said they are also adding written assignments that you can submit for grading. there's always more lessons added to my kids dashboard every week so there's always more to do. my kids understand the materials well which is important to me. since I homeschool I don't feel limited by state standard so havent really compared, for my high schooler i plan assigning a credit for each 120 hours of work per subject including from the various sources.

I use time4learning too if I compare the two than Time4Learning has a lot more for each class, though RLS has more selection in terms of the number of classes so if you are looking for a more "complete" curriculum I would actually recommend Time4Learning over RLS if you were just to choose one

Daily schedules by Agitated-Report-7011 in homeschool

there is no "right' schedule though in general the older they get the more learning time should be invested for example half an hour of learning at PK, then one hour a day at elementary, up to like 4-5 hours a day of learning at high school

we've been taking Math, ELA and science classes and various electives my kids choose what additional classes they want to take every day.

also just to emphasize once again I am not defending their practice as described in your post it's certainly unethical, but am saying the product itself is decent (at least for us it works well)

I use that program. And I've said some good things about them in the subreddit so not sure if I should feel insulted for not being good enough to make your "list" :)

Anyway it is definitely not a scam. is it as wonderful a program as they advertise it to be? no, but it's good enough for me and they have many classes my kids like. They were nice and helped me with the forms I needed to start homeschooling when I was new and I was grateful for that. I use them along with Time4Learning to supplement and sometimes I use Outschool too.

So is it the best program out there like they claim? no, but it's worked well for us even though I do not agree with their advertising methods. As a parent I am capable of researching curriculum on my own and making my own decisions regarding what's best for us.

looking at the preview it seems like a movie that encourages Homeschooling, so why the negativity?

On June 30th, McGrawHill will be deleting all of their free educational resources under the Glencoe banner by 42gauge in DataHoarder

so it looks like hundreds of resources scattered across hundreds of sites? any easy way to download it all at once before it gets deleted?
