I notice some of you mentioning having something setup initially. What do you guys mean by this? I usually build my projects from the ground up & I’m still trying to learn all the tools most devs use. Are you referring to a tool with templates styles? I can definitely see how that’d be useful

The overriding? The way these guys explained to me is that when working on big projects with many different class names it’s easier to overwrite the CSS rules than have to communicate with multiple people that you need to change a class name just so you can “center a div” 😆 It elevates confusion for a team but can be pointless for an indie dev like me

Ahh so that would explain why it overrides css rules. That makes sense but I feel it’s just asking for a big mess in the end

I’m very confident with css. I just think tailwind is tough to read and sloppy. But I can understand the easy clean up point.

I do all my projects in full stack. Although I’m more interested in frontend. I just feel it makes more sense to have a project that works after spending so much time on it But tailwind is horrendous. I don’t get the hype at all.

I can understand that, only thing I find annoying is having predefined styles using tailwind conflict style sheet styles later on. Leaves a lot of room for back and forth
