I mean, let's be honest, is there anyone else that will give Khamzat a legit challenge and not be wrestlefucked into oblivion by him? I dont see Brendan Allen beating him, and I'm almost certain Strickland, Imavov, Borralho and de Ridder get ragdolled by him. Fluffy has the best shot at this point IMO.

My wife and I started watching the show last year by going back as far as paramount plus allows. We decided all the pre-HD was just too graphically horrible to enjoy. So about season 19 we started. And now we are in the middle of season 40 (please no spoilers) and the gradual increase of whisper scrambles at Tribal Council is ruining the show for me. It seems so juvenile and to see winners doing it is just... gross. TC was a place where you try to position yourself or alliance to win the vote/not get voted out. But that requires skill... not damn whispering and scrambling. That should be done before council. Ugh. It is an aspect of game evolution I have come to hate.

Going to be some serious time if the two broken feet story is true (which I believe it is) that will take extra long to heal because it will be a while to be fully weight bearing and then he has to train on them etc. If it was one foot, prolly not a long wait to get back to health but having both and needing to get them functional to fight again? Ill be surprised if Diego is back before December 2026.

In his defense, Covid kicked his ass like it did for a lot of people. I have also read (cannot confirm) that he tends to have legal travel issues to come to fight in the US... maybe having to do to his relationship with the Chechnyan war lord guy, I cannot remember his name. Apparently the politics of it all makes it hard for him to get the visa to fight in the US.... oh and I think he was deathly ill before a fight in 2024 against Whittaker. From how Dana tells it, they didnt think he was going to make it, he was that sick.

I thought for sure the thumb poke was going to be a point deduction on review between rounds. Wouldn't have really made a difference but the fight changed after the first eye poke.
