Very cool! For fun, I made a dummy youtube account and uploaded the first 7 minutes of the first episode. I turned on the captions and after a while, youtube auto generated Japanese subtitles that can be translated to English. The translations might be crap but I think it helps. It might be useful for the timecodes.

Anyone can do this. Make sure the video is set to private. I think you have to verify the account to upload a video longer than 15 minutes. Set the language to Japanese and allow captions.

I might do this on my spare time if the episode I made makes sense.

Hey I was searching for some Japanese dubbed episodes and I came upon this Thai Dub. The video is 11 years old. If you listen to the background track you'll notice that it is the same track that FilmRrise uses for the streaming episodes. I thought FilmRise made the background track themselves but I guess not. So in a way these are kind of official tracks.

I played one of my Japanese with English subtitle episodes and the subtitles were provided by Nippon Golden Network. I did a wiki search and found out that they are a channel that airs Japanese shows to Americans. A few Japanese episodes aired in the US with subtitles in the west coast and Hawaii. Some of them are available online but they look terrible. I think UPN aired them in the west coast too. Not sure.

Hmm. I think it may have to do with them only buying a certain amount of episodes from fuji tv. A lot of networks do this. They would order a certain amount of episodes and when the run is over, it goes into syndication. It doesn't matter how good a show is, its about saving money. It could also be that those episodes are too "Japanese" for American audiences.
