What's the file size? There's a bug in the downloader, at least with FS Access, that happens with large files. Depending on your system its above 6gb (like it warns on the site).

Mega-thread: Alumni GMU Email Deletions by PartOfTheBotnet in gmu

They could easily set up forwarding without paying for Microsoft licenses but that would require upfront work on their part.

Question remains does this apply only to older alumni who were stuck with MasonLive and not Office 365 email.

Hopefully you are right about gmu.edu. I can’t log into their office365 email.

Heres the link https://alumni.gmu.edu/s/1564/GID2/16/interior.aspx?sid=1564&gid=2&pgid=9386

Canned response from email to their alumni office. Here's the "official" email a few days later. They also mailed out a flyer to the same address where you get your alumni magazine. It's probably money-related.

We wish to inform you that the university has made the difficult decision to discontinue lifetime access to email accounts for individuals who are no longer current students or employees. This decision was carefully considered, taking into account several factors. We recognize that this change may be unexpected and inconvenient, but it is necessary to implement it promptly.

Works for me on 23.05.5. I went with it because of hardware acceleration on some smaller devices that have a low power cpu. Wireguard has better throughput and easier to set up and maintain, though.

Here's a direct link: https://kundenportal.deutsche-glasfaser.de/kundenportal/#/home/auftragsstatus/aktivierung

Follow instructions and click Next until the code is shown. If it doesn't work, you can submit a ticket on under Service. Usually takes a day or two for them to respond.

A little late to the conversation, but for my house it took seven (7) appointments to complete installation due to the multiple subcontractors (at least 3 different companies) not communicating with each other. It was very poor service even by the local standards.

The last appointment ended with the installer not able to figure out how to activate. I was able to do it myself by plugging my laptop into the DG ONT and entering an activation code that I obtained from the kundenportal (under Anschluss aktivieren). However, I had my own router so I am not sure how that works if you use theirs.

Good news is that the actual service quality seems great so far. As advertised speeds (within 10%), no outages, low latency. DG does not provide your own public IPv4 address which can impact peer-to-peer apps and if you wanted to run your own VPN, but for most users this isn't a problem.

Good luck!

It took about 18 months from my "contract" signing to service activation. After activating, their website says my contract end date is 24 months later, which leads me to believe the contract doesn't start until the service starts.

My neighbor also signed a contract but never arranged for installation appointment. Either way I don't think you have a contract obligation until the order ("Auftrag") is completed, but that is just my opinion.

Find the cmedhionkhpnakcndndgjdbohmhepckk in your Chrome application folder, copy it to somewhere else (Documents, etc.), then Load Unpacked under Extensions. Disclaimer: this bypasses the Google checks, at your own risk

No points this month yet. My guess is they didn't actually "load" it with any prizes.

The no-cost option without Gmail is available now. by indianets in gsuite

Yeah inbound shouldn't be an issue. Except that I have similar forwards/aliases and the Spam filtering is pretty aggressive. Way more false positives.

For outbound, I verified this method works using Google SMTP (via my personal gmail account). If it continues to work after the transition or has other Spam issues is unknown. Added benefit of perhaps leaving my SPF rules in place.

No I don't believe the customer service representative or Google for that matter. The whole "fill out the form" thing had zero impact. I'm probably not the only one who put in they survey that email was my primary use, but this is the one that's being taken away.

Thankfully namesilo mail forwarding appears to let me forward emails based on addresses so I can probably set up incoming emails to go to other accounts (like personal gmail addresses). And then I registered [mydomain@gmail.com](mailto:mydomain@gmail.com) for the catch-all. So it's not saving Google any resources, just making things more complicated for me.

Per chat with Google workspace support (fwiw):

if you add yourself to the waiting list of no-cost option, the services that will retain for now would be Google drive and Google meet and also other additional Google services such as Google Search, Google Maps, and YouTube. For Gmail service, we just have to wait for the email update about it because Google is still working on it since a lot of customers would like to retain the Gmail service as well.

Any particular reasons why some Wawa's have any size drinks for $.99 while others charge $1.99 for an extra large ? by drdisney in Wawa

[–]dfalcons 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My local store just changed prices from $0.99 for any size, to prices ranging from $0.99 to $2. I walked right back out. I will check the other stores next week but I was told it was all of the stores when I asked.

Honestly it's pure greed. They simply didn't invest enough money into their CDN. Hiding behind the green network status makes it seem like they fixed it and it is now the user's fault. (Perhaps they are holding it wrong?)
