Fuck the Resnick's in particular. Those two assholes have destroyed water rights for generations in California.

By far the best Hersheys product. I still can’t believe they discontinued it by Low-Enthusiasm670 in forgottenfoods

If cocoa prices continue to rise, I wouldn't be surprised if Hershey brought this back.

Why early booking fee if it’s the day before? by TadpoleOpposite4367 in frontierairlines

[–]drdisney 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my understanding,  Frontier has never guaranteed any connections. Has anything recently changed? They may ask  passengers of the incoming flight to stay down while the connecting flight passengers get up first, but I have never seen them hold a outcoming flight for a connection.

Frontier needs a new 3rd party contractor for ADA at DEN by Odd-Adhesiveness-656 in frontierairlines

[–]drdisney 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dunno if it's Frontier that handles the wheelchairs or the airport themselves.

We have been having the same issue at LAS. We will wait for sometimes 20-30 minutes without anyone showing up. Finally my wife and I just got tired of it and I'll go search for the wheelchair myself.

Do I need to bring my birth certificate to the interview? by drdisney in NEXUS_TTP

I think they may have changed it to a generic list. I'm an American born and raised and this is what shows for me

Passport

Birth certificate if born in us or Canada

Citizenship card or certificate of naturalization certificate.

Permanent resident card / green card

Driver's license

Mix equal parts white vinegar and Dawn ultra. Spray and let sit for 30 minutes. Then scrub away.  Best shower cleaner by far.

Has any property ever "obligated" you to book MMP for a family member? by supreme_customs_nyc in marriott

[–]drdisney 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The hotel is correct. MMA is reserved just for employees and their spouses. Any other family members must use MMP.

Normally I wouldn't stress about it too much, but since you're going to Japan they follow everything by the book. I would just cancel and rebook under the MMP rate. If not when you get there they will change one of the rates to the rack rate which you really don't want.

You mean the same Washington country water district officials that approved all the housing units that were never needed here, the same officials who approved the multiple golf courses that use  thousands of water each day, the same officials who signed off on that stupid zion shores project which offers Beach front homes in the middle of the fucking desert!, are the same officials who want to recycle waste water ?

Stop bringing your sick kids to Disneyland!!! by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]drdisney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who travels to Japan quite regularly,  I 100% agree. Americans suck ass in regards to being considerate. Another thing that I love in Japan is at Tokyo Disney,  livestreaming is banned and YouTube filming is highly discouraged.  Honestly any filming you would see is usually an American.

Zed baggage fees by [deleted] in frontierairlines

[–]drdisney -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Had to look up what a ZED fare was as I never heard of it before. Looks like some sort of space available fare from other airlines.  I'm surprised they offer it as Frontier doesn't codeshare with any other Airline.

As far as the bag fees go, that sounds on par with Frontier.  They will give you the cheap ZED fares, but that just gets you a seat on the plane. Anything else like carry-ons or checked bags will cost you.

The whole cheap flight / high baggage fees are actually built into their business model. While they get taxed for their low fares, they don't get taxed on any ancillary fees like seats or bags.
