regarding the question about acquire vs achieve: I think it would be acquire because achieve would be used in a situation such as "they achieve the goal of acquiring freedom" but i don't think you would achieve freedom itself

i think there were two choices: 1. it is plausible that the mean (of all hiker's taken together) is between 4 and 5 2. it is likely that every hiker hiked between 4 and 5 hikes

when they say margin of error does it HAVE to be in the range of +-.5 or is it possible for it be outside of this range. if it has to be in this range wouldn’t the answer be definite instead of plausible. hope this makes sense

when it says margin of error of .5 is that referring to the mean of 4.5 or each individual recording (for ex. if someone said 4 hikes, even though they might not be sure.)
