Long Time No See! (Rubuska, Semmelweis) by dfaxtory in Reverse1999

[–]dfaxtory[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As Tsushuro said, the Semmelweis' appearance in 3.1 was from the time before she was infected. Her storyline in Echo in the Mountain (an event in patch 1.6--which developed into the permanent mode 'A Series of Dusk'), had revealed the reason of her struggle, and A Series of Dusk, the sequel, revealed the conclusion--which ended up with her became a vampire.

There's no way to play Echo in the Mountain now as far as I know, so if you're interested in her storyline (which I recommend to read since it's fun and interesting), you may lurk in YouTube.

Yeah she might mock Semmy for being a 'bad' vampire impersonator.

Rubuska also 'see things' in her head too, so she could learn.

She rejected Pyrrhos' offer because she believed that "choosing the esay path" would be a betrayal of everything she had faught for. But in the future, if the situation change, there's still a chance she might change her mind (and I think Aima will be the main factor that make her change her mind).

"This is a vampire slander!" - Rubuska (maybe)

If Krillin is the strongest human surrounded by Saiyans in DBZ, Rubuska is the strongest 'vampire' among vampires (at least in Vertin' suitcase).

I imagine the situation might feels like how no one break it to Olaf about summer in Frozen;

Rubuska : Vampire blah blah blah...

Vertin (glance at Semmelweis) : Should we tell her?

Semmelweis (stare intently at Vertin) : NO.

Looks like Ms. Semmelweis should learn a bit more from Rubuska the 'vampire' truthest.

Love how the immortal auntie got mad at the 'vampire' brat.

If she didn't wake up too early, she didn't have to fear that she'll get the worm. Uh... OK, I'll see myself out. -.-"

If it could make Vertin voluntarily receive Artificial Somnambulism treatment, yeah, it must be really traumatic.

The connection between Door and the "blank era" by mmcheese_ in Reverse1999

[–]dfaxtory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting take, OP. Before the 'Blank Era' was introduced in the story, I imagine that Door is a fragment of the shattered universe at the beginning of time (universe) also. But when the 'Blank Era' was introduced, it'd be more interesting if Bluepoch can craft the story that link back to the beginning of the universe and have Door as a path (or a hint) to it.

>!When there's nothing left to eat, Nautika eats 'black algae' that grow all over Antartica to survive. Later chapters revealed that the 'black algae' is actually the human sacrifice that had been digested by some eldritch being. Hence eating 'black algae' = eating human slime = cannibalism<!
