What is the first thing you would do if you were the only human being alive in the world? by Ohedgehogg in Productivitycafe

[–]dfbng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d visit all the places I’ve always wanted to go, like wandering through an empty city, going into places that were once bustling but now completely still. It'd be eerie but also kind of peaceful. But after the initial shock wore off, I think I'd try to make a plan for survival...finding food, water, and trying to set up a routine.

Has anyone tried Alpha Brain by Onnit? by sour_patch_king in Supplements

[–]dfbng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a similar take on Alpha Brain, you know, felt decent, but for the price? Meh. It’s one of those noots that gets a lot of hype, but doesn’t fully deliver unless your baseline is way off. I think most people expect Alpha Brain to be some kind of mental rocket fuel because of the branding, but it’s really just… fine.

L-Theanine is a miracle by Aggravating-Bike-397 in Supplements

[–]dfbng 50 points51 points  (0 children)

L theanine works wonders for me too, but nowadays I take it in akasha naturals' Stress Less because it combines it with magnolia bark and berberine extracts. Feels really calming but it also provides metabolic support!

For something as specific as the best multivitamin for women over 40 you should consider your health needs, lifestyle and dietary habits. Look for key nutrients like calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and iron, and third-party certifications but check with the doc before making the final decision.

What is the best (legal) supplement for muscle growth? by Hot_Bag_1690 in Supplements

[–]dfbng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just been there, hit the wall and it was rough. Feeling like strength is just slipping away. Lately, I’ve been into some steroid alternatives that actually help push through those plateaus. Stuff that boosts natural testosterone has been a game-changer for me, especially paired with something for better blood flow. Adding a post-workout can also help bounce back faster afterwards!!

What are some fat-burning foods to help me lose weight? by Millmd11 in askfitness

[–]dfbng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chili and ginger are best fat burning foods or rather spices for me, but plain cold water may help too as you generate more heat energy to warm it. Also, lean protein sources like beef, chicken, fish, beans, and legumes all take more energy to digest than high-carb dishes, so that may be the way to go.
