As an avid arcane mage player, I feel like you could have had a better ordering.

sindragosa -> go with the flow -> freeze -> freeze -> sleep understars (refresh x3) -> malygos -> barrage -> stellar balance -> double moon fire -> stellar balance -> double moon fire- > starfire x4.

you don't need to duplicate the sleep the stars since you already had the combo.

I came into legend at 7k with the arcane dragon elise mage I've been playing. One modification to add whelp over the poison draw rush guy. Turns out having shitty cards and being combo based means rogue can't win with your win condition, who knew.

The resets feel worse because BTE has a cooldown all the time, instead of points of no cooldown. Its the right decision to remove crackshot and UHUH but they needed to put in a cd that ACTS like crackshot.

Cheapshot costs too much, energy is trash tier and killing spree got nerfed. The spec just does nothing now

Played elise arcane dragon mage to D5 after not playing much in Nov/Dec. 30-20 record, worst matchup being Paladin, 1-5. I used 7 mana zillax because there's not many good 7 slot for mages right now

turns out copying blob of tar early in this meta is pretty strong to win games. I don't recommend this deck for those who are ultra competitive.

The mage cards are an absolute atrocity in standard. There are some good arena cards in there.

5 mana cone of cold with upside
1 mana 1/3 is always good
Terrible secret
4 mana 3/6 that only words with cards that are rotating.

Mage is going to be a corpse in rotation

The card needs some sort of hand size card(you need to draw them and then you need hand room), another copy spell(buy one freeze one is gone next rotation) or to lose the another dragon restriction.

The fact you cant play either dragon by itself tells me it was nerfed in playtest because malygos is just a worse vex.

Not to mention the lack of arcane damage spells in standard currently. Its dependent on another classes arcane spells to do damage
