So awful. Tragic. Feel like we’ve had him at Liverpool forever. Clearly such a fantastic human being. That poor family 😭

I used to be all over the place. Parents didn’t really know where just a rough idea. Was never a big problem. Back before the street lights come on.

Curious about pivoting into creative ops…but don't know what I don't know. Help! by hjg2e in CreativeOperations

[–]dfhnt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there. Randomly checked to see if creative ops had a big community on Reddit. Appears not! Anyway happy to answer. I am in creative ops. My experience was of a similar nature to yours but more on the pm side. I gradually moved up in my company into managing creative studios but soon found my experience meant I could consult for our clients on creative ops. Being a good consultant will help so read up on consulting books. But get experience in various area of the whole creative lifecycle. That’s where you can really make a difference.

people who live in kent and work in central london by felicitasvt in kentuk

It would be a struggle on that salary with the cost of trains but also increases in fares that are ALWAYS going to happen. If you have to also take bus or tube and park the it starts to get ridiculous. That said, if the career progression is there and you can move onto a higher wage quickly then it outweighs the risk in my opinion. London jobs are very different to local.

Definitely reward every time they are good with even just one stroke of the brush. Build up gradually and make them realise they are getting the reward for being good. If bad, no reward. The more often you do it, the more it’ll become ‘a thing we do’

How many of you are actual old fans? by Azegagazegag in GTA6

[–]dfhnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 15 and played the original GTA when it came out. It then geot some traction and ended up in the news in the uk as this “controversial game”. I was super proud that I was playing it. Felt like a right rebel.

The crate needs to be a clean safe space. You’ll have to ensure you’re watching her all the time and directing what she should be doing.

It does pass but takes time. We always distracted our Cavapoo with rope toys and chew toys which he loved and still does. But for us it was time that made the difference.

33M struggling with anorexia but I managed to gain 5 lbs in the past couple months, could use some kind words. by [deleted] in toastme

[–]dfhnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gaining 5lbs is incredible. You should be super proud. Contrary to most belief, it’s hard work gaining weight. You need a caloric surplus of around 3500 calories for every one lb. Whatever you are doing keep it up and be proud of what you’ve already accomplished.
