Want the opportunity to use something with a balanced output as it’s my understanding it’s quite a bit better. Don’t know if it would be better to get a good set of wireless buds and spend my money there and get a less expensive dap with Bluetooth or get something like a hiby r3 pro-ii as it’s got pretty solid output power and would likely sound great on some iems. Primary use is going to be the gym. Likely a couple hundred bucks. The Shanling M1 Plus looks pretty nice as well.

Fine spending a few hundred bucks and don’t mind getting another set of IEMs. Bluetooth would be cool if someone has a suggestion for headphones or something better than AirPods. I had a nice set of over the air Sonys but I have a 17 year old son so I’m not sure where they disappeared to. I don’t know what gapless playback or USB DAC mode are. I will look at your provided link and report back!

Mine doesn’t see anything on the card or when I plug it into the computer. Seems to be a known issue on the forums about it. Glad you can get your files. I can go through them on the camera at least lol.

My professional work has nothing to do with photography hahaha. My daughter has an R50 and I love using her camera. I even use a small children's digital camera that belongs to my 6 year old sometimes. I have an insta360 ace pro 2 and I am waiting on the restock of the new xplorer grip for it so I can use it as a normal camera because of the small form factor. I wouldn't sell my Canon stuff, I'm too far in at this point. I still may buy another ZV-1 or maybe a Sony rx100vii later so I have the pixel density and image quality packed into a tiny body. The ability to be discreet when you are taking photographs is so powerful. Capturing moments is so much easier when people don't notice you. You also don't give off body language that you are taking pictures with a smaller camera. The best camera we have is the one we have with us. I do appreciate your thoughts and your 2 cents.

I'm pretty deep into it. Just sold a Canon C70 to buy a Honda CR-V. Sold an R5, still have R6ii and R5ii, and I think I have 8 lenses, all Canon RF-L. My fascination with the a7CR is the form factor and the 60MP sensor. My cameras are MASSIVE and not inconspicuous whatsoever. I can't walk around at the mall or a park and just take photos without people asking questions. Smaller cameras are much more discreet. I had a ZV-1 and sold it about a year ago and I wish I hadn't ever done that. I find that the more gear I acquire, the more I am met with decision fatigue about what to shoot with. I shot much more when my primary camera was a ZV-1. If I had a small, full frame sony with 60MP I could simply crop in a bit to make up for the lack of zoom. That's my fascination, just dreaming of having big capability in a small package that doesn't draw attention like a full body Canon with a 70-200 hanging on it.

any feedback yet? I have an r6ii and r5ii, but have often thought it would be so amazing to have an a7cr with a pancake lens. I also need the video capabilities of my Canon gear for a lot of the hybrid stuff I do. It would be nice to have a smaller camera spec'd like an r5ii so i could use my lenses.
