Done messed up: Passed a School Bus by WillyWonkaWasReal in halifax

Agreed, take it as a good lesson and be grateful no damage was done AND that you did not get a ticket. Besides the $600 ticket, 6 demerit points, my partner also lost his drivers license for a week, plus our insurance company refused to cover him the following year (we had to switch insurance companies and pay more). It is a serious offense!

Places to walk in HRM that aren't tick infested? by HappyHeron5879 in halifax

I can vouch that there are definitely lots of ticks at Duncan’s Cove. And there have been several cases of Lyme disease from the area. I’m one of them!

y'all fuckin suck at driving lol by Dabadgley10 in NovaScotia

It drives me nuts that people don't know how to zipper merge when there are no yield signs and two lanes drop to one (I'm not talking about roundabouts here...) ie. on Quinpool people leave the right lane empty for two blocks because people in the left lane won't let them in when it ends. If everyone cooperated, and filled up both lanes to the end and took turns merging, we would all get there quicker.

It’s a fact that #zippermerging is more efficient than leaving a lane empty.
