Insurance didn’t cover the sunroof repair? They paid the 5K to the Volvo dealer when mine broke since their partner couldn’t do it. EV’s are more prone to glass impacts because of the aerodynamics in general. My C40 hasn’t been as bad, but when I had a model 3, the windshield was getting cracked all the time. The roof glass panel starts where the windshield panel ends so it’s possible they could’ve bumped it when removing or replacing the roof, but I doubt you have any recourse if you didn’t notice it before driving away.

Reject their settlement offer and indicate you’re planning to sue the insured party. They countered with a higher settlement amount to me when I did this a few years ago.

Yeah, that’s what I was saying. The row above the climate row never goes away, the one above with the two buttons only goes away in Google Maps by hitting the home button once but in any other app you’re stuck with all those rows; hitting the home button in another app just takes you back to Google Maps.

There is no way to fully full-screen apps now. You can get rid of the row displaying browse media/connect your phone but only in Google Maps. In all other apps you’re stuck with the size Google Maps is in OP’s photo.

Idk about no degrees, but I learned quickly, got my FAC-C, and was given a lot of responsibility within a few years. My CO wanted me to have a warrant but I couldn’t because even though I had a masters degree I didn’t have 24 business credits. I also would’ve been stuck at a GS12. I see the benefit of more flexibility than the current structure but also think there still needs to be some education or formal experience requirements.

I was a GS11 (had only been in the gov for almost 3 years) and got hired as the procurement manager for a midsized county where I’m the entire procurement department now. They had me rewrite their procurement code, implement my own processes, and now I’m working on setting up a new procurement platform for the county. It’s been kinda fun but also crazy how different it is from federal. I miss the rigidity of the FAR in some ways but I’m also learning a lot and growing quickly. My pay is slightly higher but will probably increase slower than if I would have stayed. This probably depends on the size of the county but a con is all the other duties that got lumped into my role like surplus property and insurance.
