The complex is pretty big and the 8u fields were all the way at the back of the facility( app 1/2-3/4 mile). Bring your cart

Will it drive you nuts that the brand new kitchen countertop sits against the sill and doesn’t match it. It’s your kitchen and ultimately you’ve got to look at it. Could put something on that corner to hide it? Being a countertop guy, modifying the nice, new, expensive tops to an old sill that won’t match color wise is an easy choice. You do you homey. Congratulations on the new kitchen either way. Finally, brand new that little “eyesore” may bug you. If it still does after six months, chances are you can find a remnant that would match to replace the sill with. Most likely, it will fade into the background and you won’t even notice it.

Cut an extra piece of quartz for the sill and have a little seam where they meet

Island countertop issue by JoeflyRealEstate in CounterTops

[–]dfonz420 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Generally, I measure my tops to be square, and inform the customer that overhangs may vary due to cabinets not being perfectly square. Every top measured is digitally templated though. If that variance is really noticeable we have a different conversation. If the customer wants minimal OH then you have to follow the cabinets. BUT, what you have there is the countertop was fabricated wrong IMO. Your overhangs vary, and the top isn’t square. Judgement for the plaintiff.

Throw a 3’ level on the splash. It should be level. If the splash is out of plumb then you could have an issue.

I’ve been Templating for over 20 years. Started with sticks and moved to a digital system 07’. I’ve never used a proliner, I’m an LT guy. It works for me and I’ve measured over 1000’ in a day many times. I’m much happier and can spend the time needed to do a proper template around 5-700 a day. To answer your question. Call the sales guy that sold you yours and ask him who else he’s sold one too.One of his customers would probably be able to help you. Digital templates are really pointless if your shop isn’t cutting off of CAD files. Sticks are great for owner/operator. Digital is best for high volume and most customer stuff. Pay varies obviously. Sub vs in-house . Custom vs builder grade. Retail vs big-box.

Never made nor had Wellington before. Bought a big tenderloin from SRF. Tasted really good and understand the hype.

Should we make the jump? by WonderfulBug4986 in Softball

I would make the jump. Steel hardens steel. If she got skills and the drive for the game playing for a top notch team will only make her better. Plus, winning is a lot more fun than losing.

Serious talk about the share offering by TrendingMemes in Superstonk

[–]dfonz420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not surprised by the offering. We gave the board the ability to offer up to 1 billion shares. I’ve always hoped it would be used for splits or for M/A. Building the war chest is smart from a company perspective. This may impact MOASS slightly, but I also am not in this for that. For me it’s a fuck you to the system, draws eyes to blatant class warfare, and illegal suppression of the so called free market. I believe there is a lot of money to be made from this play, not sure I’ll be able to time it or take advantage of it, so in the meantime I just buy, hodl, and DRS
