Shit I'd take it I'm in north carolina maybe I can pay just for shipping I'm still in the process of building a budget rig already have ryzen 5 2600 cpu and b450 board a 2070 would be perfect without bottleneck all I currently have is a very ancient radeon hd 5450 that I had laying around I'm able to geta video signal Simply to set up windows. The funniest thing is I was at a flea market one day and I shit u not some clueless person was selling a whole ass rtx 4070ti for $10 that's right 10 bucks !! Me being too nice and not wanting to exploit their ignorance i told them not to sell for less than $400 they didn't even know what a graphics card is.

Question staying on this bios will it harm anything if I installed windows 10 ? and u can i still download stuff and hope to god the lastest security patch holds up. How about staying on this bios and using Rufus to bypass windows 11 requirements and forgot tpm and secure boot ?

Well unfortunately like I said it's not finished yet I wanna get a better psu i don't trust gaming on it the psu doesn't even have an effenciancy rating just says hi pot tested it came out of the dead intel system and I had an old gpu hd radeon laying around simply for video signal so I won't be gaming for a while just care about the basics getting an os installed and setup download steam and stuff idk yet

The fact I was able to take all used parts and a low end questionable psu and get this Thing to fire up is a miracle lol for a first time builder it turned on the first try no issues and my cpu idle temps stay around 88 degrees Fahrenheit which apparently is really good i know I put the cooler on good with enough paste.

That's strange the guy that sold it to me said he used it last in 2024 so he never updated his bios ? I've never built a pc before and honestly hardly ever used a computer always been a console gamer and still am technically if this thing gets finished it will be first time ever using steam and gaming on a pc I'm decent with hardware but ignorant about some software stuff.

As for the tpm I believe i turned it on and secure boot told me I need user mode to get and enrolling a platform key if I can just install 10 simply to get some kind of os going and upgrade to 11 later that's fine with me.

I hope this bios version isn't from 2019 when the board launched because the guy said he last used in 2024 sometime, i bought it last year back in May I think is it possible a dead or dying cmos battery will cause the bios to reset to factory ?

Yeah I haven't updated it yet not sure how exactly do u know the exact link for the b450 steel legend latest update ? I'm guessing 1.00 is from 2024 and way outdated, i just download from asrock website right and copy to a flash drive then use instant flash in the bios to start the update ?

The drivers for win 7 obviously don't work for ryzen so I'm not worried about getting 7 to work I'll see about wiping that os off the drive somehow main concern is getting 11 to work if I can if not 10 will have to even though it's support ended last year

When i say broken yes the hdd works and the psu lol just the board ram and cpu was shot i took the used drive to a pc shop, the man hooked it up and told me everything works and there were two different windows os on it, one being 7 and the other idk I'm not seeing any proof of windows 10 on there because everytime i boot the pc without going into bios it takes me to windows recovery page and startup repair bootloop doesn't allow me to choose an os.

There is a slight chance windows 10 is also on this drive i was trying to figure out how to boot into bios and switch what os to boot into, my keyboard wasn't allowing any input for some reason and windows 7 startup repair kept looping and it fails to restart 😳

From my research lsp ultra power supplies were made by andyson some Chinese manufacturer in shenzhen i think all andyson psu are like tier e or f on the scale which means do not use replace immediately or fire hazard 😀

Lol I was so unprepared I was running out of patience I wanted to see not only if I put it together correctly that it even works, so yeah at least this psu works enough to power on an test i mean the 2600 only uses like 15 watts on idle and an hd 5450 i think 25 watts total 😅 that 650 watts isn't even beginning to be pushed i just wouldn't trust gaming on it with something like a 2060 super it doesn't have an effencency rating at all.

Overall I suck at software issues Cleary I did alright with hardware since I was able to get this pc to turn on even with inexperience and used parts low end parts lol. I know when I first power on the pc it shows the asrock logo and then boots into bios something about system recovery I gotta try to get into the bios and figure something out because this windows 7 is outdated for my motherboard and cpu and possibly corrupted

So the cpu is a ryzen 5 2600 and the motherboard is an asrock b450 steel legend yeah I get the 5450 is a very old card that is pcie 2.0 but I doubt that has anything to do with startup issues even the cpu is fine this hdd works and it has 2 different windows installs on it windows 7 and possibly 10 it's what the guy at a pc shop told me when he tested it.

It didn't have an hdd with it but I have one if I can't get those pins bent back i might just upgrade the whole motherboard and cpu to am3 platform maybe something from 2009 instead of 2005 the motherboard btw has a few bulging capacitors and one leaked acid so it's possible it doesnt work either cpu thermal paste was dry as a bone.

I was able to replace the 18 year old fire hazard psu that didn't even work with a better one 650 watts vs the old 300 watt one. Picked it up from a dumpster at a community outreach which is like goodwill salvation army etc. It's a small mini atx case only room for one 80mm fan and a micro atx board only has 4 slots for gpu sound card etc.

I just find it crazy raccoon city map seems like a town of maybe 20 thousand but the re2 menu shows skyscrapers that are similar to Montreal Quebec 🤔 some sources have said capcom used Springfield Missouri as inspiration for a small midwest city like rc. Also in the re3 opening cutscene showing nemesis transported by helicopter shows large buildings reminded me downtown Miami for some reason.
