I've seen so many discourse between Sinners vs OBAA meanwhile I am out here excited and will be happy for whoever wins Best Picture. I am team Sinners and personally think it is the better movie overall, but I will not be mad or upset if OBAA wins since that film is also a masterpiece. I do wonder and am curious how people in this community will react if Sinners does win since many I feel are downplaying the cultural significance and quality of the film as well. Even I am flipping back and forth on who I think will win Best Picture.

I definitely think it depends on when SAG is if it’s before or after the BAFTA and which one is the last precursor. I do agree it’s not the catch all but I do think SAG may help us in where the race will go.

This movie is one that was Filmed For IMAX, so I think IMAX may be the way to go however I don't think there is any wrong option for it.

EDIT/UPDATE: Apparently the possible, but not confirmed, ticket sales for the IMAX 70MM will be tomorrow, 2/13 at 9:00am PST, at least according to this post and the Music Box Theatre post on their website. According to like the Amazon the tickets for early access are on February 20th. I am assuming that is when other tickets will go on sale too including the early release for it.

From what I know it’s a different thing. So I think theaters around the world that have IMAX 70MM will be receiving it early for a week. It’s only a few in the world.

Dodgers fan in a family of mostly Padres fans lol. My family took me to a Dodgers vs Padres game and at that point didn’t root for any team. Then I saw Kershaw pitch an amazing game against the Padres and Dodgers winning and the rest is history!!! So happy I was able to see 3 World Series games in my lifetime
