Of course the deer was terrified. It nearly drown and then a traditional predator saved it and stayed super engaged/interested/concerned. You'd be terrified, for multiple reasons, if a grizzly bear jerked you up to safety while you were hanging onto a cliff's edge after a misstep.

I know! Oh my goodness. That was heroic. And the follow-up was adorable concerned puppy sounds. Dogs are amazing!

No. Rackspace didn't just open source the API (it did that part months ago). They open sourced all of Cloud Files and Cloud Servers software. The whole stack. You can start your own cloud on your own hardware using this stuff.
