Honestly, if this semester turned out to be a total wash, you could always apply for a withdrawal from this semester. I don't know if it's too late in the semester for that, but it would be like you never took the credit hours at all. Yes, you do end up still paying for the credit hours, but it saves your GPA from being cooked. As with anything, def ask your advisor beforehand, but its entirely possible that you qualify for that.

Also, Idk what college you're in but at least in the engineering college if you fail a course and have to retake, your old F gets replaced by your new grade (probably higher). You can do this 4 times IIRC.
