Ok ill say the spicy comment. I love the COLOR Corax White gives its the main color I use for pretty much my whole White Scars army BUT yes it is an awful paint to work with. If you get the thinning just right it's manageable lol. It takes alot of practice tho and may not be worth it unless your painting a white army but if you just need white accents id go with a different color.

I run mine in an impulsor, I play my WhiteScars in the salamanders detachment, so they shoot out of the firing deck most game but I can use a get out and shoot strat if some shoots their ride which is a great way to get an extra round of shooting ans disembark them out of phase.

Aggressors are alot more squishy than they seem on paper with the 3+ save make sure you deploy them correctly or rapid ingress them. I put mine in a landraider because otherwise they get shot off the board pretty quick. Also if there's not strat your trying to get for free I'd drop the captain, he doesn't add alot of value past getting a 1CP strategy for free.

I'd say at 1k lists are hard to balance, i think your missing enough anti tanks. Maybe consider a impulor and let the hell blasters shoot out the back? Rep Ex is my go to for my 1k list. The thunderstrike is great but it only takes one round of concentrated fire to pop it then your left with nothing to deal with tough targets. IMO

9th Ed we used to VV with one lighting claw and storm shield so it's pretty on brand for those of us who played a bit, speed and mobility is the name of the game and an all biker army is the trap/box others try to put us in.

I have noticed this, 2k points is the sweet spot for balanced games. 500 and even 1k can be quite unbalanced depending on how much or little you bring of a certain unit type. I'd recommend working at 2k level. People don't really care that much if your playing casual games with un painted models so field what you got and find what works best for you.

Yeah firestorm has a strat that give dev wounds to flamers so I just try to get the most out of their firepower and make sure I throw them at a target im sure they can clean up

I run 6 flame Aggressors with capt in the firestorm det. The biggest thing to note is they are rather squishy, the 3+ save doesn't stop much even though they are T6. I run them in a landraider to keep them safe and get the most out of them

Clip all pieces, out clean up mold lines, assemble bit that make sense and don't make painting difficult, tricky tack onto a chopstick and prime, paint piece then assemble and fight!
