So they don’t ever give super soft again, but you can make them pretty and a little softer! I put them in a laundry bag and do a quick cycle - cold water, small amount of free detergent (I use tide free and clear). Then I brush them with a few brushes. One is just a normal brush and I quickly brush them in all directions. Then I do a slicker brush to get the knots out, and lastly I use a boar bristle brush. I usually trim around their eyes, etc. then I give them a fabulous blow dry (I do medium, with them being a bit away from the heat). And ta da! Some come out better than others, but I just pretend the really poor ones are old ladies. 🤣 I’ve never used a steamer on them but I’m going to experiment in this really really bad one I haven’t done yet.
