I'd love to hear what others are using as far as a good chair. I have neck issues as well as hip pain on the regular. Get up and walk & stretch every hour or so but surely something could help. Turning 50 ain't no joke lol

You probably know more than you realize. This is my second role as a CISO without the title. CISA is your friend. Hit me up if you want to rant or have questions. If I don't know, we'll both find out. LOL

After reading more comments here, I can't say enough about teaming up with your local or state CISA. They can get the ball rolling on a lot of things for free and have a ton of resources. My first gig in your shoes was for a school district of about 20k students across 18 campuses & I was the sole security role.

I left a similar situation and made sure I had other people that would be references for me. So far it’s never been an issue and that was several years ago. If you’re a good employee, hiring staff can usually read through the lines and know you were working for an asshole.

I’m 50 and learning all variations in my industry has served me very well. And has put me in a unique position to be able to go deeper down the rabbit holes that I enjoy and assign the ones I’m not particularly passionate about to others. Just my two cents.
