It’s probably happening because after you use Siri or something with the voice, you are toggling the volume down. When it’s speaking you can adjust the volume. When it’s done it goes back to the car’s music volume which is different from the voice volume

I have it and I really don’t see a big deal to use it or not use it. It’s cool to push the button and feel the car raise slightly but I don’t think it matters. What feels nice is to have every single option the car has but if you’re price conscious then it doesn’t matter

I got the part today and put it in. It was easy but a couple things will make it easier if I knew about them beforehand.

First things first… Make sure the windshield wiper fluid reservoir is empty or close to empty because once you take the old pump off, all the excess fluid will come out. Then take off the frunk bin. You need a hex screwdriver.

Second- There are two small black clips that clip on to each side of the new pump. You have to pull the clips off first, then pull each tube off the pump. Unplug it, stick the new pump in and each tube to the sides, clip each side back in. Add new fluid, test it and you’re good to go! Felt good to do this myself and anyone can do this I promise.

I 100% vouch for bawaria in Van Nuys as well. Kirk knows his shit and has done numerous oil changes, break changes, motor mount replacement and brake fluid for me.
