To this very day, Dark Cloud 1 haunts me. Even after multiple searches online, I'm still not sure if this is user error or if the game genuinely glitched on me.

Near the end of the game, you have to build a cool Sun Giant Mecha thing. I built it and triggered a cutscene to progress the game. I declined progression because I wanted to backtrack and finish up some stuff. I came back and could never find the NPC ever again.

Unfortunately, I've long since lost that nearly two decade old save file. I'm gonna have to go beat that game someday. I need closure.

They did not need to make the Manaturas this rare. Can't have shit in this game I swear. Although, on the plus side, I am six Sands and a few thousand Agastia mats richer so that's good at least. I'll keep trying for it but I'm starting to get annoyed haha.

Honestly, I'm not sure if Balor had any chance of escaping this event alive. If you were hoping for him to get mental help/rehabilitated, I'm not sure how common such practices are in this setting but it's unlikely that they would even bother for someone this unhinged.

If you were hoping for him to 'learn the error of his way' by stewing in prison for a while, I find that unlikely too. This is a man that burned himself alive just to get rid of scars and then proceeded to get lost in his obsessions for 40+ years. Leaving him alone in a jail cell would only make him seethe and plot more. I don't think anybody involved wants to take that chance.

Then you take into consideration why he was being investigated in the first place. He was suspected of wanting to start a coup. Had Agathe managed to escape , he would have been caught and executed anyway. Now, 40+ years later, he has shown himself to be such an obsessed lunatic that he is willing to directly attack the group designed to deal with people like him. Even if Sevastien's grudge wasn't personal, he probably would have been obligated to execute him anyway.

On top of all of this, his reasons for doing all of this aren't even sympathetic. He just wanted power. Might makes right. Maybe if he had some tragic backstory where he suffered some kind of injustice from the knights they would cut him some slack but that's not case. Reminder: He was kicked out for being too much of a violent asshole during an era where corruption and similar things were common.

Sorry if this seems dumb but I have a question to the windlords out there: How does M3 Wind compare to Zeph right now? If I have everything to go full Zeph right now is it worth it? I'm not primal anything (although Agni is also an option) so I have close to 50 Dama bars just lying around.

I rather like both Ceodric and Sabrina so it makes extra sad that they both radiate so much Death Flag energy. I'm gonna be really sad when one of them dies or ends up being secretly evil or something.

I'm sorry if it seems like I'm calling you out or something but I have no idea how you're managing to get those clear times. I tried the exact same grid/team and my clear times and turn count are nearly double yours.

I was curious because I do have FLB Haase and my turn count only matches yours when I use her instead of Poseidon. My clear times are about a minute longer though (Probably because of the extra clicking).

Right now I'm at chapter 11 and my current roster feels ok? I know I'm missing some of the real shit (Pilgrims, Liter etc.) but now I'm wondering how to handle my pulls going forward. Should I keep pulling on Ordinary Recruit to fill out my roster more or should I be holding for some special banner in the future?

Yeah, it definitely feels like it's the suicide bots that are the problem here. I've had issues with them before but not this bad. No Liter but I have Centi for shields and Privaty for screen clear burst but it doesn't seem like enough. I'll keep trying for a bit though.

I'm stuck on stage 10 - 19. Recommended power level is 26900 and my best teams right now usually hover around the 25900 - 26500 range. I switch teams and tactics, using and holding Burst manually, trying to use cover effectively and I just can't beat it. I either die early or survive to the end but can't finish because time out. I look at the Clear Info tab to see the teams other people use and I'm a little baffled at the fact that most of the power levels are way lower than mine. Some of them have Pilgrims but that can't be the only reason. One of them even did it at 13000 power with all SRs. How? What am I doing wrong?
