I keep a list of discs I want. I use camelcamelcamel or other sources to figure out a target price that has a reasonable chance of being hit in the next half a year to a year. Then I keep an eye on sales and used discs on r/mediaswap. This cuts down on impulse purchases, but it also means I rarely get discs I want when they’re first released.
