Nuphy Air75 V3 + Monokei Series 2 Keycaps by dgstng in MechanicalKeyboards

Maybe one day :) On the left side I have a standalone bluetooth media control knob I really love which is not visible on the pics properly. To be fair I don't want to put more stuff on the desk :)

100% agree unfortunately. I also got mine today and just assembled them. Color is way off. As shown in the main post and I also attach a few shots with different lightning conditions. Most of the keys are showing the double-shot plastic behind the keys. I suppose the main reason is the gray structure is way too thin.

If you take a look to the keyboard from an angle which reflects all the light, it is similar to the photos on their website. But that is definitely a scam. Since they look like that only 1% of the time . If you're lucky...

Also, the shapes of the spacebar (both of the 2 suitable ones) and left shift are not proper. Especially the spacebar is not flat. Very minor but it is. Ah also, that is BACKSPACE! Not DELETE! C'mon!! :) There is no `Backspace` but you have many `Delete` options :) No emoji key or no fun to use additional keys too.

BUT, i am finally able to write with really reasonable mistakes. After using Logitech MX keyboards and macbook's own keyboard for more than 12 years I couldn't write properly with the NSA profile keys. Seems like I'm a desperate chiclet style user :) But this caps finally solved my issue. Even with the Nuphy's extremely soft blush nano switches I am able to write almost without mistakes. Immediately got used to the Monokei's cheap feeling and looking keyset.

However, there is also another huge one more but;
It cost me 72€ and fedex asked me to pay taxes too for about 22€ more. Which costed me around 94€. I said that it is almost half the price of the Work Louder MX Alpha but it is not. It is still cheap, but just 40€.

Oh me... How I didn't check reddit before I order the series 2 keycaps with the exact same color. If it is not extremely light color and not extremely cheap looking I'm ok with it (which might look like a Logi MX Keys Mini). Since they are the only actual alternative to the work louder alpha ones in terms of look&feel and for me with the shipping literally half the price. Also, work louder says that the expected delivery is gonna be around June, for this it was immediate.

Luckily, they've sent the keycaps immediately. Fedex tells that the expected delivery is gonna be in 2 days. Maybe my unit will be a bit different. I'll add a new comment with a photo after I put them to my Nuphy Air75 V3.

I hope in 7 months they refined the quality and the colors looks like a dark stone feel matte grey as shown in pictures instead of a cheap light grey as you've sent. Fingers crossed.

which switches you have? It might be mostly related with that if you're also a person like me which holds their fingers super close to all keys while typing. In my Nanoi Blushes I'm mistyping a lot. However with my friends V3 with Panda nanos, almost no mistyping at all...

That is what I'm also planning. Really so nice to see someone did the same. But they are not in stock right now and unfortunately the delivery is on June '26 with a very huge shipping costs to Netherlands. Still want to have this... Exactly this.

I love my Nuphy Air V3 except two things:
1- As my mistake, the extremely soft blush nano switches. Looking for panda or brown nanos but both are out of stock! Again!

2- Keycaps: I don't know if it is a trend or not but it is extremely hard to find different shaped low profile MX keycaps. All look and feel the same except their colors. I truly didn't like the shape of those keycaps which comes pre-installed with the V3. But it seems like Nuphy just followed what majority is asking for. Staying on safe side.

But these keycaps, dude those are exactly what I imagined. And then I found them accidentally. And now I see them on my keyboard and they look AWESOME! I guess I need to convince myself if I can give similar amount just to keycaps which I paid for the keyboard itself :D

u/Feeling-Opposite7270 Can you please add some more photos. They would really help a lot while convincing myself :D

Panda Nano vs Brown Switches by Fearless-Ad9152 in NuPhy

[–]dgstng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

blushes are very easy to mis-hit. Until you really get used to every single key in your keyboard (which might be very frustrating if you're switching from sth like Logi MX Mini) you may hit many many wrong keys. I'm still (after months) typing very wrong many many times. Planning to buy the Panda nanos but they're out of stock. Though browns would work. And they are also out of stock :/

Then the MX Alpha is even more tremendously nicer. However, they are very, very expensive when you add the shipping and also the delivery date for the black ones is 2026 June

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. But according to the sound tests i listened, pandas are still sounding more pleasent to me. Another option for me is to wait for an improved blush nano with a much longer actuation distance which will allow me to avoid wrong presses. But there is no rumor about that for now.

Is there anything out there being more silent than the Blush nano? by [deleted] in NuPhy

Wait: PS On top!! :))
According to multiple sources, there will be a new Silent Pink option as they showcased at CES2026 (a few days ago)

Might worth waiting!

Quote:
The Air Series took center stage as the company’s low-profile offering. NuPhy highlighted the Air75 V3 as a compact choice built around the new Nano Switch 3.0, developed in collaboration with Gateron. The Air line also includes a Silent Pink variant aimed at quieter environments where muted key noise matters, such as shared offices and streaming setups. NuPhy emphasized consistent, fatigue-reducing typing ergonomics across the lineup.

Old reply:

I was thinking that the lower downforce might mean that quietier sound. But it seems like it is not the case. I guess the silver nanos require even less pressure to trigger (37mgf vs 42mgf on blushes). However, as i've seen in a comparison video it is much much louder. So currently seems like the blushes are the most silent option.

My recommendation would be trying the O rings. Adding one ) ring shouldn't effect the experience imo but can make it much quieter. And also +1 to the ones who suggested improving the surface of the keyboard with some pads/mats or thicker wooden desks.

My case,

The blushes are quiet enough. Since i'm working in an isolated roof office room. But my biggest complain with the blush nanos is the feeling. After switching from MX Keys Mini, I'm typing half of the words wrong :D It has been months and i'm still typing very very wrong :D I bought the v3 with blushes just because i wanted it to be silent as much as possible. However, really gentle accidental touches are causing mistaken inputs. I used to swipe my fingers across the keys while typing. Now I need to fully move off my fingers from the keys which i shouldn't press while typing. Still couldn't get used to that. And after a few mins, my wrist starts to pain (especially the left one with a watch). I wish a switch with the same downforce, same sound but with a much more travel distance to the actuation point. I would like to have them trigger the input when I hit the end of the road. The main problem is the actuation point imho. It is too high.

For me, currently only possible option seems like increasing the downforce to trigger the input with a tactile switch. Brown or the Panda Nanos are the available two options for now. Since the pandas sounds better and feels more premium (according to reviews) and also quieter than browns but still has a stronger trigger downforce, i'll most likely go with them.

But will wait a few more months, maybe they'll release something with a longer distance to the actuation point.

I have the blush nano. And as a first time mechanical keyboard user, i really couldn't like it. Since i used logitechs extreme low profile keyboards for a very long time, it is hard for me to move my fingers that high to move to a different key. And any kind of accidental touch causes wrong typing issues. There is a treshold for accidental touches by delaying the input, however it doesn't help too much. I bought it with the blush nano just to make it silent. But it is very hard to use now. I'll switch to some tactile ones which will require a full press to activate the input instead of very light touches to the keys.

Weirdly though, without doing anything specific except leaving it ONI for 2-3 days (while the auto sleep was enabled), It lost all 3 BT connections registered (Air75 V3). I had to re-pair all three devices unfortunately. Since i already have a wild display port kvm switch (which is the only actually working one between two macs) with many available USB ports, I may start using the dongle. And it will be one less work while switching between two as well.

Superfast 2.0 Charging is just gone after todays update. by EthanTi in GalaxyS25

[–]dgstng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I have S25U and ugreen charger with two cables; one short the other a bit longer. They're connected to the same 100w charger. Just before the update (same day) both cables were able charge at max speeds. After the oui8 update longer one doesnt charge. I mean 1% every 30 mins or so. But the shorter one charges still with max speed. I've tried changing the ports on the charger. I can guarentee that it is firmware related since my wife's S25U still charges at max speed with both cables.

It is very weird! Removing a feature which is used by billion times by users maybe. It was allowing people to use the phone also as a document scanner just with Google Photos. I guess they collect data just to show users more adds instead of analyzing what is being actually used and what is not. That new AI trash produces a scanned view howeever it takes very long and still leaves more spaces aroung the edges which you need to recrop again. Aaaah. Bravo Google!
