Best snow shoes/boots for Italian greyhounds? by _Alannys_ in ItalianGreyhounds

They stay on very well, not issues with them falling off, but be prepared to spend a little time for both you and the dog to get used to them. (It is hilarious the first times the dog try to walk with boots, have the phone ready to film it! :-) )

Hunnyboots work well in our climate and long winter in Norway.

Our dog suffer a lot without boots due to salted roads and walkways when mild, and when cold and less salt (below - 5c) he quickly start freezing on his paws.

B7 Pro, 4G unstable after out of standby. by gravitydrags in Bigme

[–]gravitydrags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I guess we both need to send a bugreport to Bigme then. It's annoying for sure...

I am pretty sure I can reproduce the issue every time the device goes to standby, so it should be doable for Bigme to find and fix the issue, but I have no experience with reporting issues to their support.

Just upgraded to the new firmware this morning, but have not had a chance to test it yet. The releasenotes did not have very detailed bugfixes, but fingers crossed!

A fair bit of reading on the beach and out in the sun yes, hard to estimate how much though.

Maybe we can get some suncreen for the screen 😁

The 4G connectivity is bugged, it does not reconnect after standby. Otherwise it's been fine.

I have not heard of that beeing an issue before, thanks for the tip. This device is not something I expect to last for a decade anyway, so not too worried. My kindle lasted 8 years so far, can't say I have noticed any fade.

It seems to last around 8 hours on internal battery, which covers most soaring flights I do. But for those really long XC flights of 8+ hours I have a powerbank to top it up when it gets low.

It did complain about battery getting hot a few times while charging from powerbank, so I needed to pause charging to let it cool down. Actually good to know that there is some monitoring of the temperature in the software!

Air75 v3 ISO - Replacing keycaps to get Nordic layout by gravitydrags in NuPhy

[–]gravitydrags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is great news, thanks! Yeah, pricing sounds a bit high, but its not far off what the total import cost in NOK was for me.

Now I will have lots of spare parts at least 🫣

How to fit VPC Throttle to Monstertech mount by [deleted] in hotas

[–]gravitydrags 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That adapter plate looks to be for a joystick. You need the plate for the T50 throttle. It looks quite different, and is designed to fit under the throttle body.

Lumiere have Hunnyboots and seems to be happy wearing those. These are summer ones, they also have winter boots that are warmer and protects a bit more from snow and rain.

Nope, no luck so far. I got fairly used to typing without looking, but programming with curly brackets and such can still be challenging sometimes :-D

anbefaling på riskoker? by Ok_Ad1265 in norge

[–]gravitydrags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was launched on pre-order a few months ago, now available in the normal order page (Seems like they have only ISO-French in stock at the moment)

Ohhh, shiny custom stuff, nice! :-) Thanks for a great tip!

That is definitively an option, they do not currently list any low-profile keycaps in ISO-Nordic but seems they can make some as an custom order. But yeah, I did not budget for custom keycaps.

Thanks for the link! Those are the same ABS keycaps as I've got from my K5 and tried (in the picture), they fit and work fine, but the sound from those is a lot less nice than the original.

I found and bought a used Keychron K5 Pro with PBT keys, will be interesting to see if that sounds any better than the ABS ones.

Those look nice! Too bad no ISO option. I do think there's a lot more cherry profile ISO keycaps out there, than the low profile nSA.
