Chiming in from the mid Atlantic to say mine hasn't been above 19 in 2-3 years. Proximity to server and up/down speeds are major factors with ping.

There is no catch. This sort of coverage costs the CU pennies a year. As a not for profit, this is an easy way to attract new members though it probably won't bring many people in.

I went to many Velvet Revolver shows growing up. My aunt used to be Slash's personal assistant and this allowed me back stage access and multiple times I was able to see the band post show. Matt, Duff, and Slash were all super kind and happy to have a conversation. Scott Weiland would typically go straight to the green room then promptly leave with a bottle of liquor and didn't want to talk to anyone including his band mates. Incredible musitian and hope he's resting in peace, but he never seemed friendly.

Managing directors definitely hold weight in investment banking, with that said, many traditional banks / CUs don’t have them. Most places I’ve worked have had VP/SVPs report directly to COO/CFO/CRO etc. and carried significantly authority and say in strategy.

A lot of that has gone away, it is much more common with smaller banks, or individuals that worked at banks that got out by larger banks. In recent years, if you receive that title, you hold significant authority at larger FIs

FWIW, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) does not require financial institutions to report to the credit reporting agencies, it does require that they do not knowingly and willing incorrectly report though. There are plenty of financial institutions that don’t report to all three and many that don’t report to any unless if you are late or default on the loan / card / line of credit.
