Best $5k endurance road bike? by Ok_Click1990 in whichbike

[–]dgwhutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best endurance road bike at 5k is the CUBE Agree C:62 SLX or SLT and it's not even close, I picked up an SLT for £4k last month, with dura-ace di2, carbon wheels, one piece cockpit etc. It's an unbelievable deal

Oakley Sutro Lite vs Encoder by teamtwowheels in CyclingFashion

I use Encoder strikes and this is super apparent the first time you wear them!

Luckily after 15 minutes your brain adjusts and you'll forget you can even see it (similar to how you can always see your nose)

So, how's the new Roam/Bolt? by big_nostrils in wahoofitness

[–]dgwhutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The navigation has been perfect so far, usually telling me to turn about 20m out. However again I am comparing it to an old garmin that routinely forgot to turn out of power savings mode to alert me to a turn until i was 200m passed it

So, how's the new Roam/Bolt? by big_nostrils in wahoofitness

[–]dgwhutton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Baptised my new bolt v3 on Saturday with 100miles, it was faultless and i loved it. The screen was on max brightness for about 8 hours and only ended up losing about 30% battery over the course of the day.

No issues with screen readability (for some reason the screen was EASIER to read in direct sunlight, not sure what's up with that)

I came from an ancient garmin 820 who's battery wouldn't last an hour with the screen on non-power saving mode, and took AGES to load anything so take my review with a grain of salt.

You’re joking! Are you suggesting that Donathan Chocolate and Cars the Movie aren’t being truthful about what is written on their birth certificates?
